Big News! Black-ish will officially be back for a second season!

Where to begin…..

Okay so I know that I have apologized in the last post for not posting and I shall do the same here.. Im Sorry… do you forgive me? Well I have made it my mission to post way more often then I have been. Here’s a little life update from where I last left off: I had a great time in Chicago visiting family ( my cousins and I got into plenty of trouble), When we got back I realized that I had some ( by some I mean ALOT) of school reading to do. I had to complete: Jane Eyre, by Charlotte Brönte. And Only to Deceive, by Tasha Alexander; and The Magicians Nephew, by C.S. Lewis. Although it took me a while to get through the beginning of Jane Eyre it did become suspenseful and fascinating once Jane recounts the tales of her late teens; I do highly suggest this book for those into romance, mystery, suspense, and anyone who is looking to read a classic. And Only to Deceive,  is a newer book (in comparison to Jane Eyre-  it was published in 2006) and was AMAZING! Another romance/mystery novel, it was a page turner and I completed the 300+ pages in four days! It follows the life of an Emily Ashton a year and a half after her husband of 6 months had died on a hunting trip. She discovers more and more about him and seems to actually fall in love with her dead husband ( when they had married it was only for conveniance) , no matter how sad that may seem . The Magician’s Nephew,  Is the first of the Narnia chronicles following the story of a boy named Digory and his friend Polly as they discover the new world of Narnia. Now, I didn’t find this the most interesting book but I think that might have to do with the fact that I am 13 and I had read the beginning of the book at the age of 7. I feel as though I would have been more enthralled in the book if I had read it three years ago and hadn’t already known what was going to happen in the beginning. It is a good book just not my cup of tea (I prefer historical fiction/ mystery- so I was most likely biased coming into the book already knowing that It was a new genre for me) . Altogether I have enjoyed my reading books and look forward to my first day of high school!!!! I am getting my last few books, supplies, and pieces of my uniform together to prepare for the new school year. Ohh- I almost forgot to tell you that the garden was a success and we had enough tomatoes to feed us for weeks ( Baba made salsa and other deliscious meals for us) *I am trying to convince him to make his own cooking youtube videos. Thats it for now!

Bye bye,

Yara
